Explantation and reimplantation of a three-piece hydraulic penile prosthesis due to reservoir rupture.

Patient Details:
Age: 55 years old
Medical History: No significant pre-existing conditions
Medications: Not taking antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs
Previous Procedure: 8 years ago, the patient underwent implantation of an AMS CX700 three-piece hydraulic penile prosthesis for chronic erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease with a 70° dorsal curvature.
Pre-Procedure Preparation:
Daily pelvic skin cleansing starting 7 days prior to surgery
Pubic hair left untrimmed for the month leading up to the procedure
Post-Surgical Protocol:
Hospitalization: 24 hours with bladder catheterization
Drainage: 10 mm Jackson Pratt scrotal drain for 4 days
Prosthesis: Inflated to 70% for 7 days post-surgery
